Job 3:17-19 "there the wicked cease from turmoil, and there the weary are at rest. captives also enjoy their ease; they no longer hear the slave driver's shout. the small and the great are there, and the slaves are freed from their owners."
this is an interesting passage, and seems to reinforce what i've been thinking lately about the afterlife: namely, that, existence continues upon death, also that [personal] philosophy is reinforced by and continues beyond death that is, upon releasal from the body, the mind only continues doing what you had decided that it would do.
Death as absolution of desire?
nothing more, nothing less.
